surviving helene

Hurricane helene update:

The first thing I want you to know is that I am SAFE. My 100-year-old cottage survived the storm. I am safe and have my needs met, but I, we, are not okay. The artists of Asheville, the people of this region, myself included, have lost so much. Approximately 80% of the River Arts District is gone. From my studio, I was able to rescue some originals, large giclees, and painting supplies. For the time being, my studio is not safe or habitable to be working in, so I am essentially paused.

So many of you have lovingly reached out asking what you can do to support me, and my first answer is to buy and share the art I have available. Right now, it’s most helpful to me to sell what I have than to take on commissions since I don’t have a studio and consistent wifi/cell service for communications. If buying art is not an aligned option for you at this time but you still want to support, I wanted to create this space to accept donations. If it resonates, feel free to donate at the link below. For the time being, we are still in survival mode. Thank you so much for your prayers, donations, love, and support.

I am super excited to share a new offering I have - hand deckled watercolor paper giclees in large sizes! This is a more affordable option for purchasing larger pieces, and I can’t wait for you to see them in person. You have an option to add a minimalistic, magnetic hanger with your piece, which allows for the viewer to experience the texture of the archival watercolor paper in a way that you can’t with traditional framing. You can shop the giclees here, and if you are a retailer or interior designer, I have wholesale options available as well. For wholesale inquiries, please contact me directly.

Testimonials

Back by popular demand are my Nautical Chart / Map prints! I used to sell these at the Charleston Farmer’s Market, and after receiving multiple inquiries about them recently, I decided to bring them back! You can view these reproductions here!
